I have been at INES as a PhD student since Novermber 2015 with a topic "Integration and linkage of heterogeneous geospatial data" under the supervisions of Dr. Lars Harrie and Dr. Ali Mansourian. Within my topic, I am currently insterested in investigating the potential of Semantic Web technologies to alleviate some certain integration issues.
The first study that I have been carrying out during the first year of my PhD studies is "On-demand mapping and intergation of thematic data" in which we are exploring the possibilities of utilizing the information within base maps to (partly) represent thematic data and getting the foreground and background integrated. We have had a working paper on an ICA workshop that describes the general idea, you could have a look at that paper through here.
And a few words about myself, I am from China, and was born in Jinan. I have had my studies in Jinan, Wuhan and Beijing before I came to Lund. I like Chinese calligraphy, music, football, and computer technology.
