Programme contents

Are you interested in working with sustainable development and environmental monitoring? Do you want the opportunity to work with complex environmental problems both nationally and internationally? Then this is the programme for you.

Our Master programme in Geographical Information Science and Earth Observation for Modeling and Management involves interdisciplinary studies in science, engineering and social sciences. The programme is included in the European Commission's Erasmus Mundus programme. Training is carried out in collaboration between five European universities:

  • Lund University
  • International Institute for Geo-Information Science and Earth Observation (ITC) in Netherlands
  • Southampton University in England
  • University of Iceland, and
  • Institute of Geodesy and Carthography in Warsaw in Poland
